Bookings and Payment
Once you have chosen your cottage and checked availability bookings can be made online, by telephone or email. The Green Holiday Cottages operate a Super Control booking system which accepts on line payments. This is our preferred method of payment. A deposit of 25% is required to confirm the booking with the balance due 28 days before arrival. Should a booking be made less than 28 days from arrival date then full payment is required. We do not accept groups of under 18’s.
Good House Keeping
Please inform us of any damage or breakage prior to departure. Failure to do this may result in additional charges. Where there is significant damage to property full repayment will be sought. If necessary the housekeeping deposit will not be refunded due to increased cleaning or damage incurred following your visit.
COVID – 19

Please ensure that you recycle household waste in the appropriate bins. Failure to comply will result in loss of deposit. Each house has recycling information and we would ask that you adhere to this during your stay. Guests should be aware that the dropping of litter on the site is prohibited. We want to preserve and conserve our natural environment as much as possible. We operate a ‘Leave No Trace’ policy on site and would encourage our guest to adopt the principles as displayed in each of the houses.
Please contact us immediately should you wish to cancel your reservation. In all cases of cancellation the booking deposit will be forfeited. Should the cancelation be less than 28 days prior to arrival GHC will endeavour to resell the cancelation in part and/or in full. If this is successful the customer will be repaid the monies less the deposit. Cancellation needs to be advised via email. There is a £25 admin charge for cancellation if the cancellation made before the 28 days and is taken from the booking deposit.
Should GHC have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstance or a COVID – 19 related matter. You will be informed immediately and your booking refunded in total or the booking transferred to a suitable date.
Arrival and Departure
The cottages are available from 3pm on arrival day and should be vacated no later than 10.30am on the final day of your stay. These times may be flexible subject to prior arrangement. Please advise us of your approximate arrival time prior to your stay.
The maximum occupancy for each cottage is stated on our website and must not be exceeded without our prior knowledge and agreement.
Other Guests using The Green Holiday Cottages
We would ask our guests to respect the occupants of the other cottages and to act at all times in a way that ensures everyone’s enjoyment. There is an area of shared space which should be used considerately. The Green Holiday Cottages reserve the right to take appropriate action against anyone failing to act in a responsible manner. We do ask that the noise level is kept to a minimum after 10.30pm.
No Smoking Policy
The Green Holiday Cottages operates a no smoking policy anywhere inside the cottages. We do not provide ashtrays and would ask that dispose of cigarettes appropriately. Please do not spoke directly outside open patio doors or windows.
We are committed to ensuring the best standards of practice in all our activities. Visitors to our web site can be assured that the protection of privacy and confidentiality are given the highest priority. All personal information is collected, held and used in strict compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Your data will only be used to contact you regarding your enquiry and booking. We may contact you before, during and after your booking but only in relation to your booking.
There is car parking available for holiday residents. Please park vehicles in a manner which is considerate to others who are accessing the site.
